openSUSE mini-summit at LFNW April 29 2018
Bellingham, Washington/United States
Bellingham, Washington, USA
Most openSUSE communication happens online with e-mail, IRC and forums. Our events offer opportunities for real-time, in person communication. The openSUSE mini-summit at LinuxFest Northwest (LFNW) is a way to be in contact with other people from openSUSE and FOSS to discuss, collaborate, plan, hack, learn, teach, share new ideas, gather groups with similar interests. Meet people you only know from IRC or e-mail; they are so much more than that.
LFNW is a celebration of the Free and Open spirit. The openSUSE mini-summit extends and focuses that celebration. We encourage you to come to LFNW and participate in the openSUSE activities.

About openSUSE.Asia Summit
openSUSE.Asia Summit is one of the great events for openSUSE community (i.e., both contributors, and users) in Asia. Those who usually communicate online can get together from all over the world, talk face to face, and have fun. Members of the community will share their most recent knowledge, experiences, and learn FLOSS technologies surrounding openSUSE.
This event at Tokyo is the fourth in openSUSE.Asia Summit. Following the first Asia Summit in Beijing 2014, Asia Summit has been held annually. The second summit was at Taipei in Taiwan, then Yogyakarta in Indonesia. The past Asia Summits have had participants from China, Taiwan, India, Indonesia, Japan, and Germany.

openSUSE.Asia Summit 2014 October 18 - 19, 2014
The first non-commercial openSUSE Summit in Asia, which aims to promote openSUSE and other free and open source software in the region. In the conference, we are going to launch a series of free and open source software lectures, discussions and workshops, so that more Asian users will have a chance to understand the concepts, use the software and join the community. Meanwhile, the summit also provides a free platform for Asian users to communicate with each other face to face. Participants can take this opportunity to learn about the related technologies and share their experiences. We hope that it will be held in other countries in Asia in the next few years.
