The openSUSE Conference 2022 is schedule to take place June 2 to June 4. The pre-party before the event is scheduled to be on June 1 at the Kater Murr. The openSUSE Conference is the annual openSUSE community event that brings people from around the world together to meet and collaborate. The organized talks, workshops, and BoF sessions provide a framework around more casual meet ups and hack sessions. The call for papers will close on April 14.

Rock im Park

The music festival Rock im Park (June 3 - 5) will take place at the same time as the conference. Attendees for the conference are encouraged to book their hotel as soon as possible. Please check the list of hotels on the conference webpage. Bands expected to play at Rock im Park are Korn, Green Day, Weezer, The Offspring and more, so please consider booking your hotel soon. Most Rock in Park visitors do camp, but booking a hotel in advance is recommended.

Covid Health Posture

The openSUSE Conference will follow the Bavarian Ministry of Health's requirements and posture regarding COVID. An FFP-2 mask and social distancing may be required. An FFP-2 mask is required for public transportation.
