Theo is an openSUSE contributor (mainly packaging and the Administration team (openSUSE Heroes)), and involved with various other open source projects and activities, both in promotion and coding part. He has been one of the main organizers of oSC12. He is currently living in Prague, CZ, where he is working at SUSE at the Operations and Services Team.

Puppet is an open source central configuration management system. In this workshop attendees will get to know its declarative language, and how it operates, by doing simple tasks , like handling files, users, cronjobs and services. The overall goal is to show all the advantages on running puppet from a single laptop to a large datacenter. Attendants are requested to have the puppet package installed in their systems: zypper in puppet
