The target audience for this workshop are beginners who want to get an idea about monitoring. We will compare the leading open source monitoring software suites Icinga and Nagios and set up an own monitoring instance on your Laptop. You should have a a solid foundation in openSUSE and/or SLES and bring your own Laptop with you for the workshop. We will setup an Icinga or Nagios instance on your device using packages from the openSUSE Build Service as installation source.
