According to the release roadmap[1], next openSUSE Leap release - Leap 42.2 will be released in November 2016, I will present the development process of Leap 42.2 in this talk, and talking about how to contribute to Leap, what things can help with the release, help to ensure the quality of new release, etc.

openSUSE Leap is openSUSE's regular release, which is is a brand new way of building openSUSE and is new type of hybrid Linux distribution, openSUSE Leap has the following estimated release cycle: * One minor release is expected approximately every 12 months, aligned with SUSE Linux Enterprise Service Packs * One major release is expected after approximately 36-48 months, aligned with SUSE Linux Enterprise Releases
