Improving openSUSE's software portal
Alexander Graul
Alex is an apprentice at SUSE since 2017. He has worked on OBS, DeepSea and openQA tests. He is also a maintainer of https://software.opensuse.org and an open source advocate.
No video of the event yet, sorry! Meanwhile...
openSUSE's software portal at https://software.opensuse.org is the go-to place to download the openSUSE distributions or to discover new software. It is connected to our powerful Build Service (https://build.opensuse.org), giving users the ability to easily search for packages, even if they are not part of the official repositories.
In this workshop we will work together on improving the software portal, from gathering ideas to implement new features.
Anyone is welcome to join, basic knowledge of Ruby on Rails, HTML, CSS (especially Bootstrap) is appreciated but not strictly necessary.
