According to a 2023 Statista report, the AR & VR market is rapidly growing, with major contributions from China and the United States. This presentation focuses on using AR.js, a lightweight JavaScript library, to optimize logistics by enhancing delivery routes with augmented reality without GPS. AR.js was chosen for its efficiency and ease of web integration. The application uses AR markers at specific logistics points to provide augmented information when scanned. Data collected includes user interaction metrics and qualitative feedback. AR markers encode location-specific information, accessible through a device's camera. In logistic, the markers were placed at the start and end points of delivery routes. Scanning the start marker displays route details, including destination and estimated travel time, while the end marker confirms delivery completion and provides recipient information. The application enhances user interaction and provides a practical method for presenting location-specific content. In logistics, AR markers effectively optimize delivery routes, improving efficiency and reliability. The findings suggest AR.js can be successfully utilized in various logistics operations to create compelling AR applications without GPS, opening new possibilities for integrating AR into logistics and making technology more accessible and impactful.
