When it comes to load balancing, the first thing that comes to mind is LVS, Nginx, HAproxy and other specialized load balancing software. However, the oldest web server, Apache HTTP Server, comes with a load balancing feature. In some less demanding scenarios, there is no need to use the more complex configuration of LVS, Nginx, HAproxy. This topic will use Nextcloud as an example to demonstrate how to use Apache HTTP Server to achieve simple load balancing.
