Biography

Brian Clemens is a cofounder and the Vice President of the Rocky Enterprise Software Foundation and Rocky Linux project. He serves as the Vice Chair on the board of the Linux Professional Institute, and the technical steering committee of the Open Enterprise Linux Association. His position as an Open Source Program Administrator at CIQ enables him to contribute full time to open source activities. He resides in Tokyo, Japan.

Abstract

In this talk, I will give a general introduction of Rocky Linux, with context for those not familiar with Enterprise Linux. Being that that is an OpenSUSE conference, I will highlight the Rocky Linux project’s usage of OpenQA.
