I'm luna, I work at suse, I'm 21 years old and for the past year I've been employed as part of Team Daedalus as a part of SUSE labs. Me and my coworkers have been part of the team around cockpit. Currently I am working on upstream a testing image for opensuse. I love all things Linux, and have been using opensuse tumbleweed in various capacities from 17 years old. I fell in love with opensuse and I'm glad I can contribute to it everyday

No video of the event yet, sorry!

Cockpit has been part of Opensuse micro since it's inception and in the future will be a big part of Opensuse leap 16. I'll be talking about what cockpit is. There will be a live demo, with an overview of the many of the components including but not limited storage and cockpit-podman. We'll dive into how it works and look into a high level overview of the internals of cockpit. Using this overview We'll be looking into what are "applications", how they can be used to extend cockpit and finally how we can write our own applications. We'll also show off a few applications we've written to make cockpit integrate with opensuse microos. As well as a few community developed applications. We'll also be announcing some achievements we've made upstream and downstream.
