Angelos Tzotsos is a remote sensing expert with background in surveying engineering and software development. He is involved in numerous activities around free and open source software and has great experience in geospatial applications. His research involves object-based image analysis, machine learning, computer vision and remote sensing. He is currently working as a researcher at the Remote Sensing Laboratory at NTUA. Angelos is an openSUSE Member and maintainer of the Application:Geo project. He is a Charter Member of OSGeo and the Build Manager of the OSGeoLive GNU/Linux distribution. He is a developer and contributor to many OSGeo projects.
