I studied bioinformatics at the University of Jena. Afterwards, I did my PhD and developed algorithms for the analysis of measurement data from biological samples (for the identification of small molecules from mass spectrometry data). Currently, I am transitioning from a PostDoc position to the CEO of our spin-off company, Bright Giant GmbH.
