Presented by:

Nuno do Carmo

from SUSE

By day, Nuno is a tech writer working @SUSE on the Open Source and Cloud Native projects. By night, he's The Corsair, contributing on WSL (he's a MVP) and CNCF projects (he's an Ambassador).

The best way to catch him is on Twitter/X (@nunixtech)

No video of the event yet, sorry!

Follow me through the "Dante Layers" of switching from Windows to Aeon on my daily driver. We'll start in the "Always Admin" (hell) layer and will try to reach the "User only" (heaven) layer.

Luckily, Containers and Kubernetes (purgatory) can help us make the final switch have a cozy (and secure) new $HOME.

The talk will showcase the different options available to run software on Aeon and how understanding some key design principles from the maintainer(s), can help with the Aeon onboarding, and more broadly, immutable OSes.

While the storyline of this talk is "sharing experience", there will be few demos on distrobox to make it more interactive.

So, are you ready to sail with The Immutable Corsair?
