Presented by:

Stefan Behlert

from SUSE

Stefan is one of the Technical Project Managers for the SUSE Linux Enterprise products. He's co-ordinating technical teams, doing all the nasty work to make a product release happen.

No video of the event yet, sorry!

The openSUSE distribution and the SUSE Linux Enterprise products share a lot of things in common. At the same time, they vary in a lot of aspects. Some of them are caused by fundamental differences in the philosophy and the basic properties of the projects. With the upcoming CODE 12 of SUSE Linux Enterprise it's time to look at those differences and similarities, as the codebases will be closer together for a long time. The presentation will show examples where both projects profit from each other and give an insight into the next major codestream of the Enterprise Line.
