Presented by:

Richard Brown

from openSUSE & SUSE

Richard Brown / ilmehtar is from England but currently lives in Nuremberg in Germany, and is chair of the openSUSE Board as well as employed as a QA Engineer by SUSE. Involved in openSUSE/SUSE since 2003, Richard has contributed to various aspects of the project, including supporting users on IRC, testing/bug reporting, packaging, marketing, ambassadors and artwork. Richard is involved as a maintainer of GNOME and the openSUSE branding packages, as well as working on other parts of the Project.

No video of the event yet, sorry!

This workshop will give an opportunity for people to work on and learn how the openSUSE branding packages are put together, tested, and submitted to the distribution. These packages are responsible for all of the openSUSE specific themeing and artwork, as seen in our various desktop environments (KDE, GNOME, XFCE, etc), our bootloaders (Grub/Grub 2), and during the Installation process
