Aaron Luna

from openSUSE Mexico

Computer Engineer and user of free and open source software, especially the Linux operating system (using openSUSE obviously). openSUSE Advocate in Mexico. Professor of computer science at the Universities of Mexico.

Founder of the openSUSE community in Mexico. Speaker and workshop of openSUSE at Free Software events such as: FLISOL (Latin American Free Software Installation Festival), SFD (Software Freedom Day), DFD (Document Freedom Day), LIbrePlanet (Free Software Foundation). I'm know in Mexico as the representative guy of openSUSE.

I have had the opportunity to propose projects with high government officials in my country for the implementation of Linux Labs in universities and I have exchanged ideas with some of the leaders of free software projects like GNOME to improve their communities.

No video of the event yet, sorry!

Culture and education are linked, in this talk the impacts that have been generated in these areas using openSUSE in Mexico will be exposed.
