Adrian works since 1999 for SUSE Linux. During this time he acted as
- KDE Desktop integration developer.
- openSUSE project manager during the launch of the project.
- Open Build Service project manager, delivering OBS for openSUSE, SUSE and partners.
- A side job was to launch the official openSUSE ARM port together with others.

We design together the same object using FreeCAD. I will guide you through the different workbenches of FreeCAD and tell you how to use them.
Optional: * Importing a STL file, convert it via a mesh to a solid. And being able to modify it. * We may also use FEM simulation to simulate force on the object to find it's week point.
Please bring a laptop with you.

Wir werden zusammen das gleiche Bauteil mit FreeCAD konstruieren. Dabei werden wir uns mehrere Werkzeuge anschauen und lernen wie sie benutzt werden. Wir werden eine exakte 2D Zeichnung anlegen und daraus ein 3D Objekt entwickeln.
Optional:
Ein existierendes Object in Form einer STL Datei importieren und es verändern
Das FEM System verwenden um Schwachstellen in dem Objekt bei äußerer Krafteinwirkungen simulieren
