Especially, when working towards complex goals with many stakeholders and team members, communication is key to successfully creating great applications and products. Agile development provides us with a couple of methods to tackle this problem. When it comes to actually hacking away and implementing new features, pair programming is one of the most powerful techniques to support communication and collaboration. This talk will introduce the concept of pair programming, present some best practices, and finally provide some solutions for remote pairing in distributed teams.
