Lenz is the development and product management team lead for openATTIC at it-novum. He has been involved in Linux and Open Source Software since 1995, when he first discovered Linux during his computer science studies.

Since then, Linux and OSS have been defining his professional career, having worked at SUSE, MySQL AB, Sun Microsystems and Oracle in various capacities like Engineering, Community Relations Management and Product Management.
